Good morning! We have a new sketch for you today. It was designed by Jana Eubank exclusively for Basic Grey.
This is my take of the sketch. Instead of making two separate pages with the same theme, I stretched this one out over two pages with the big circle straddling both and in the process was able to add three more photo mats.
If you have plans to scrap over the weekend, try your hand and making this sketch your own. If you don't have any plans to scrap ... make some! Have a wonderful, safe and blessed weekend.
Congratulations Kelli!. Please send us an e-mail with your mailing address so that we can mail you your SMASH goodie bag.
And here is a treat for everyone else. The new collections from American Crafts now at Paper Niche. Just look at all of this great stuff! And if that's not enough, the back of this wall is also full of new lines. Is Paper Niche a Scrapbooker's paradise or what!?

Happy Friday! This week just flew by, didn't it? Well, we have a great inspiration for you today. Maybe you are planning to scrap this weekend and we have the perfect sketch for you! This sketch designed by the talented Susan Stringfellow from SketchSavvy. I fell in love with the circles and the curvy title.
This is my take of the sketch. Of course I converted it into a two-page layout but kept the sketch pretty much the same. This is the beauty of working with a sketch. You can make it your own and any theme you want it to be.
Have a wonderful, fun and blessed weekend and don't forget to come back on Monday for another wonderful GIVEAWAY. See you then!
Happy Wednesday! We had a great response to our second GIVEAWAY MONDAY. Just as

Back to our exciting and fun Scrapbook World! Today we want to talk about scrapbooking your college years. Attending college or university is one of the most memorable experiences in a person’s lifetime, but those years are over before you know it. Making a college scrapbook allows you to preserve memories to share with friends and give your family a glimpse of your campus experience. In the midst of books, exams, weekend parties, evening study breaks and mind-boggling final examinations, take time to document the ups-and-downs of college life.
You can see the covers of these two albums.
Here are some sample layouts.
Fun and colorful scrapbook papers (especially in school colors) can make great backgrounds.
A few bling and doodles around the photo mat can add a fun vibe to your layout.

Do you like to make cards? Are you into stamping? It's Penny Black this month at Paper Niche ...
Come and learn how to make these beautiful floral cards with Jean. You will go home with a free stamp and four completed cards. The cost of the class is $30. This class will be offered on Sunday July 13th at 10:30 am and on Thursday, July 18th at 6:30 pm.
In case you have not met Jean, our talented Stamping teacher, here's a little about herself.
I live in Sunrise Florida along with my three dogs and my Siamese Cat - Kahlua. I have been stamping for over 10 years now and love everything there is about paper crafts. My style is somewhat eclectic and I love to try out new techniques. For me it's not always about completing the project but the path on the journey. I have met so many friends through crafting that have inspired me and I am so blessed to have them in my life today. I'm the stamping guru amongst my peers and am looking forward to meeting you. On the weekends you can find me teaching stamping classes or working at the Paper Niche.
These are some of the areas of stamps around the store.
As you can see, Paper Niche has a great selection of products for stampers. Come in and see everything we have to offer.

Are you familiar with Project Life? Project Life is a solution-based approach to scrapbooking that was created by Becky Higgins, a busy wife and mother, to simplify the process in order to allow you more time to enjoy life! It requires no glue, no scissors, no tools, and no skills of any kind. The design of this product takes the guess work out of layout design so that you can focus on recording your everyday moments through your photos and journaling. The simple design is stylish and makes it possible for you to complete more pages in less time.
This is the set we are giving away.
We look forward to your comments! Have a wonderful and blessed day!
Good morning! This week's sketch is from Sketchabilities and it was designed by Karan Gerber. I liked the combination of circles and squares and, of course, I'm a "big softie" for banners.
This is my take of the sketch. I didn't have the same mesh that she had, so I used plain old chicken wire and then spristed (combination of "sprayed" and "misted"). The "zipper" flower is Prima and the other two are hand made.
Take Karan's sketch and make something of your own. We'd love to see your work! E-mail it to us and we'll post it on our blog and Facebook sites. Have a wonderful, safe and blessed weekend.
Good morning and welcome to the Tip of the Week. This week Steve shows us something he calls the "Double Flip". This is when he needs to cut something on the Cricut using the "wrong" side of the paper. He'll load the paper "wrong" side up and then use the Flip button to compensate. Have a look.
Hope that this is a tip that you can use. Join us here tomorrow for our weekly Sketch and a Layout. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
