Sally Lynn MacDonald
January 7th-8th

Sally Lynn MacDonald has been an avid scrapbooker, stamper, paper and altered artist since 1998, when her first child was born. Subsequently, after the birth of twins, she quit her high-tech career at IBM to be home with her growing family. "This is when creativity became a survival skill!" she says.
She has been a professional instructor in the paper arts industry for several years, specializing in ink techniques and surfaces. She travels extensively, teaching workshops at stores and events throughout the United States and Eastern Canada.
She is a member of the Copic Marker Design/Blog Team and one of a handful of Intermediate Certified Instructors for the company. She does sample work for several companies, including Faber Castell. In addition she is a certified and/or endorsed instructor for 7 Gypsies, Graphic 45, Prima, Ranger, Tattered Angels and Clear Scraps.
She currently works for the C-Thru Ruler company, makers of the brands Déjà Views, Little Yellow Bicycle and ART-C Mixed Media products.
For the past two years she was an active Certification Trainer for Copic Marker / Imagination International in the U.S. and Canada.
Her prior design team and guest blogger experiences include such wonderful companies as Cosmo Cricket, Hero Arts, Prima, Spellbinders and Tattered Angels.
This year she had a couple of nationally televised segments on HGTV’s popular craft series, ‘That’s Clever!’.
Coming soon, she will be leading self-paced and instructor-led workshops on Stacy Julian’s innovative online education site, Big Picture Classes.
Sally Lynn and her husband Neil have been married for twenty-three years and live in Connecticut with their children, Brianna and the "Twinkies," Cameron and Courtney.

What is so special about Copic markers? These markers go way beyond coloring stamped images to multi-surface applications on cardstock, transparencies, fabric and more surfaces than you can imagine. Learn about the different styles of markers, and how the markers work, without the revealing brushstrokes so often associated with marker coloring. Unlock the secrets to choosing from the incredible 334 colors for blending and shading. Hands-on practice using four blending techniques that build upon each other and culminate with a three page handout that is yours to keep for reference and practice. An airbrushing demonstration will also be included as time allows. Class taught by Sally Lynn MacDonald, 2009-2010 North American Certification Trainer, Intermediate Certified Instructor and Design Team member for Copic Marker / Imagination International.
